Blocking damage
The Sakeliga business organization has stated that South Africa’s current blockade regulations are “fatally flawed” and it needs to be changed.
Sakeliga made the statement as part of her presentation to the government on the proposed COVID-19 restrictions, public consultations, and regulations.
“Sakeliga is concerned that more than six weeks after the initial declaration of a state of disaster on March 15, the public consultation process lacks essential elements,” he said.
This does not include any new draft regulations to comment on in terms of the 5-tier lock system, and the model that will determine the level of restrictions in place that is not available.
