Jennifer Aniston’s character in famous television series The morning show It earned many accolades and recognition at the “Screen Actors Guild Awards” as well.
While some think Jen was the perfect choice to portray morning show host Katie Couric on television, Couric herself believes otherwise.
Talking on the podcast Everything iconic with Danny PellegrinoCouric came out expressing his views on Jen playing her on screen.
“I have a lot of thoughts … I thought some of them were really interesting, and I think the long-term impact and serious devastation that results from certain behaviors was fairly well represented, or very well conveyed in that,” he said.
Adding that Jen’s character should have been a bit more talented, Couric said: “I think Jennifer Aniston is great. … I wish they would have made her more charismatic because I think you need some enthusiasm to achieve a show like that.”
Meanwhile, Couric is reported to publish a memo, which details more about the morning show’s wars, which is slated for a launch in 2021.
“I thought it was really interesting to see it,” he shared with Pellegrino, “… but it was very interesting for me to see it, I will leave it at that.”
