Karan Johar apologizes for “insensitive” posts on social media amid pandemic

The famous Indian director and producer, Karan Johar, apologized for unconsciously leaving the public “offended” by some of his posts on social media.

The presenter of the chat show in response to a sarcastically made video, which called celebrities “the real heroes,” said he realized that some of his posts may not have been well with many of his followers.

“This hit me hard and I realized that many of my posts may have been callous to many … I apologize profusely and wish to add that none of that was intentional and came from a place to share, but clearly may have lacked emotional forethought … sorry! ” he said.

The video features multiple people, including health care officials, store workers, and others who have suffered a disaster due to the pandemic, thanking celebrities who post videos on how life in quarantine in their multi-million dollar mansions is quite ‘challenging. ‘ and hard.’

Karan, on the other hand, had been practically in the same boat, providing daily updates on his twins Yash and Roohi and his life in quarantine with them.
