The new Aston Martin Victor has been presented as a unique model combining a 623 kW naturally aspirated V12 with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
Regarded as the “wildest” creation of Q by Aston Martin, the project commissioned is a “full carbon fiber creation” powered by a 7.3-liter V12 engine confirmed as the firm’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine with headquarters in Gaydon. drive yet.
The company says the Victor was inspired by the V8 Vantage of the 1970s and 1980s and the DBS V8 was developed to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as RHAM / 1. Why the Victor name? Well, the CEO of Aston Martin at the time was Victor Gauntlett.
Interestingly, the Victor was built from a “completely revamped” One-77 carbon fiber monocoque and rear shell, with the chassis and body weighing less than an original One-77.
The engine is also based on the One-77 engine, although the naturally aspirated V12 has been “rebuilt and re-tuned” by Cosworth to a unique specification. Now produces 623 kW and 821 Nm torque, compared to 559 kW and 750 Nm for the One-77
All that growl is directed to the rear wheels via a Graziano-supplied six-speed manual transmission. The Victor is equipped with two coolers and a bespoke motorsport clutch, which the company says offers a “unique, performance-focused driving experience.”
The unique model also features the same internal springs and dampers as the track-only Vulcan. Equipped with center-locking wheels, the Brembo CMM-R 380mm front and 360mm rear Brembo CMM-R carbon-ceramic brakes are configured to deliver what Aston calls “levels of GT3 race car stopping ability.”
Inside, there’s a mix of luxurious materials and the bare carbon fiber chassis, along with anodized aluminum and polished titanium hardware.
While Aston has chosen not to announce the price of the single vehicle, sections of the British press suggest that the figure exceeds 2 million pounds sterling (so probably more than 45 million rand) …
