The suspects fled when one of the staff members yelled for help. A security guard chased the gang who fled on foot.
Later, two suspects hijacked two cars inside a complex in Fairlands, but were cornered by police and the guard before they could drive.
Police spokeswoman Captain Mavela Masondo said: “The police are still looking for the suspects who fled the scene. No injuries were reported and the police are appealing to anyone who may have information that could help arrest the other suspects to call the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. “
