Disney will fly a helicopter over vacant areas of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure so you can take pictures of the park while it is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
What’s going on:
- Multiple reports, including those from The OC Register and the East Bay Times, suggest that Disneyland will fly a helicopter over its park. The helicopter will capture images for future use.
- The flight took place between 10 am and 4 pm Monday
- The helicopter fell as low as 500 feet, according to reports.
- It is unclear why the images are being taken.

The OC Registry captured images of Disneyland from a helicopter in May. The images showed more of Orange County, California, with few people outside at the theme parks as well.
