It seems that A million years ago that Adele blessed us with new music.
And now, with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the 32-year-old has made it clear that she will not be releasing a new album any time soon. On Saturday, June 27, the “Hello” singer set the record right after a fan asked when we could expect new music. “Teaser? Will the albums be out today ??? !!!! Tell me now !!!”
In Adele’s style, she replied, “Of course not. Corona is not done. I am quarantined. Wear a mask and be patient.”
As fans will remember, the singer joked about the upcoming new music in 2019 when she went to Instagram to celebrate her 31st birthday and quickly after parting ways with her husband. Simon Konecki.
“This is 31 … thank God,” said his Instagram caption. “30 treated me very hard, but I am and I am doing my best to support myself in everything. No matter how long we are here, life is constant and complicated at times. I have changed dramatically in recent years. And I am still changing and that’s fine 31 is going to be a great year and i’m going to spend it all on myself for the first time in a decade i’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once be nice to yourself just we’re human, go slow, put down the phone, and laugh out loud with every opportunity. Learning to REALLY love yourself is that, and I just realized that’s more than enough. Eventually I’ll learn to love you a lot. ”
