The legal challenges of a variety of companies argue that the Trump administration failed to impose tariffs within the required 12-month period and did not follow administrative procedures.
The companies challenge the administration’s “unbound and unlimited trade war affecting billions of dollars in goods imported from the People’s Republic of China by importers from the United States,” according to a lawsuit filed by auto parts manufacturer Dana Corp. DNN.
The list challenge falls into two different groups of tariffs, known as List 3 and List 4A. List 3 includes a 25% tariff on about 200 200 billion worth of imports, while List 4 includes a 7.5% tariff on મા 120 billion worth of goods.

The Home Depot claims that it faces tariffs on bamboo flooring, cordless drills and many other Chinese-made products. Lightizer’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
