A Wisconsin hospital claims employee ‘intentionally’ removed a coronavirus vaccine from a refrigerator examined by the FBI, FDA


Federal officials are assisting Wisconsin police in their investigation of a hospital employee who was fired for intentionally wasting 500 doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

An employee of Ora Rora Medical Center in Grafton admitted that they deliberately removed 57 bottles of the Moderna vaccine from the refrigerator earlier this week.

In a statement issued late Wednesday, police in Grafton said the FBI and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as the department are “actively” investigating the case.

Advocate ur Rora Health previously told Fox News in a statement that the incident led her to believe it was an accident. However, the employee then “admitted that they deliberately removed the vaccine from the vaccine.”

Ora Rora said he fired the employee and referred the matter to officers, who were notified late Wednesday evening.

Police said no other information would be released immediately and declined to say whether any arrests had been made.
