A powerful sword from the late game The Witcher 3 appears in the upcoming CD blockbuster Projekt Red, except it’s not exactly a sword anymore – it’s a Cyberpunk 2077 car.
It is a fairly small Easter egg, it is true, but it is very good to see. Aerondight is quite a unique sword in The Witcher 3, as its damage increases in proportion to your overall level. Picking it up late in the game and defeating enemies with it dramatically increases your damage limit, meaning it can be a serious hit if you’re smart with it.
Aerondight is in Cyberpunk 2077. That’s great! Except it looks a little … different.
The Easter Egg originally appeared on Reddit, where someone shared a screenshot taken during the Night City Wire event earlier this week.
Check out the post below and see if you can find Aerondight for yourself before reading any further (not exactly difficult to miss).
One more oriental egg from Witcher in the Cyberpunk trailer: from cyberpunkgame
As you can see, his trusty Aerondight sword shares its same name with the Cyberpunk 2077 car of the month. It is unclear whether or not you will be able to take an Aerondight for a ride, but it would be great if you could. If it looks like Geralt’s sword, it should be a pretty decent car.
Also, you can summon your car in Cyberpunk 2077 as you summon Roach in The Witcher 3, so it will probably connect to your motor pretty quickly.
That said, the Reaper was featured a while back. He is associated with the band Wraith and was inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road.
There’s also another little Easter egg in Cyberpunk, though this one is a little less witchy: Judy Alvarez, the leader of the Mox gang, has a Radiohead tattoo. Actually, I’m guessing he’s quite a witch: Anyway, we did mention Radiohead in a Witcher article.

Also, and this is important: you can pet the cat in Cyberpunk 2077.
