IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI / KIDK) – Idaho officials reported 282 new COVID-19 cases and four new deaths Monday.
That brings the total confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 27,942.
There are a total of 26,091 confirmed cases and 1,851 probable cases in all 44 of the 44 counties in Idaho, according to numbers released from local health districts and the state. See the diagram below.

Eastern Idaho Public Health reported 53 new cases Monday. There are 23 new cases in Bonneville, 1 in Clark, 1 in Custer, 2 in Fremont, 10 in Jefferson, 9 in Lemhi, 4 in Madison and 3 in Teton. There are 355 active cases. You can see more HERE.
EIPH COVID-19 monitor level has four categories: minimal, moderate, high and critical. Bonneville, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi and Teton Counties are in the Moderate Risk Category.
Custer County and Madison County are in the Minimal Risk category.
Eastern Board of Health of Idaho Public Health amended the Order of Restriction for Bonneville County.

EIPH occupies Bonneville, Clark. Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison and Teton counties.
The hotspots so far this week are Ada County, Canyon County, Bonneville County, Jefferson County and Bannock County.
The state reports that there are an estimated 11,093 recovered COVID-19 cases.
The average age of Idahoans with COVID-19 is 39.1 years and varies from 1 to 100 years old. The data exclude 42 persons of unknown age.
The age group with the most cases is 18-29 with 8,193 cases.
The state said 19 new hospitalizations have been reported bringing the total number to 1,129, and 3 new cases have been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 316.
There are 1,924 asymptomatic reported cases and 1,660 cases among health professionals.
4 new deaths were reported bringing the total recorded deaths to 273.
State officials say deaths per age group drop off as follows:
- 1 person died between the ages of 30 and 39
- 7 people died between the ages of 40 and 49
- 10 people who died between the ages of 50 to 59
- 35 people were between 60 and 69 years old
- 62 people were between 70 and 79 years old
- 158 people were 80+
95.6% of the dead with known race were White. 0.7% of deaths with known race were Asian. 1.1% of deaths with known race were black as African Americans, 0.7% were Native American / Alaska Native and 1.8% were “Other race / multiple races.” The category race for 0 dead is pending.
87.9% of the deaths with known race were Non-Hispanic. 12.1% of deaths with known ethnicity were Hispanic. The ethnicity for 0 dead is pending.
