Woodcliff Lake, NJ – July 23, 2020 … Today, BMW announces a very limited X7 edition for those seeking a darker and more mysterious side of their 7-passenger sports vehicle. The 2021 X7 Dark Shadow Edition will be built at Plant Spartanburg (SC), the BMW Group’s largest global production plant, starting in August for world markets and in the fourth quarter for the US 600 vehicles will be will build for customers worldwide with approximately 75 units reserved for the United States
Pre-order will start on July 23 at 6:01 pm EST at www.shopbmwusa.com/X7-Dark- Shadow-Edition-Pre-Order. A $ 1,000 refundable deposit will reserve one of the limited edition vehicles online with purchase details completed with your selected dealer. The X7 Dark Shadow Edition is equipped with a very comprehensive selection of standard and optional equipment and packages, the only option on pre-order is the selection of second row captain’s chairs versus the standard three-person bench.
BMW Individual design features
The X7 Dark Shadow Edition will be painted in a BMW Individual Frozen Arctic Gray metallic matte finish, marking the first time this special paint is available on an X vehicle. Extended Shadowline high-gloss black trim is applied to the window trim. the door, the B and C pillar covers, the side mirror base covers and the roof rails, the kidney grille and the vent trim. The tips of the M Sport exhaust system are also finished in black chrome.
22-inch wheels with matte two-tone VM spokes in Jett Black light allow you to fit on flat-size mixed-running tires.
The interior, which can be ordered in a six or seven passenger configuration, also gets exclusive touches to set this X7 apart from the rest. Two-tone Night Blue / Black BMW Merino Full individual leather with contrast stitching covers the seats. The interior roof of the BMW Individual is adorned with Night Blue Alcantara. The upper dash, doors, and armrests are upholstered in midnight blue Nappa leather, while the lower dash and front seat backrests are covered in black Merino leather. The BMW Individual Fineline wood finish with aluminum inserts in the upper console area completes the exclusive feel of this special X7.
The BMW Individual Piano Black trim on the lower center console is used as the backdrop for the limited edition badge.
