2020 Zozo Championship Leaderboard: Round 1 Live Coverage Today, Golf Scores, Tiger Woods Score

There are interesting stories with the start of the 2020 Zozo Championship, especially as this event counts as the last of three PGA Tour events directly on the West Coast, before the East turns to the Masters at Gusta National. Tiger Woods is playing for the first time in a month, and the 2019 champion of the tournament is trying to return to an event for the first time since the 2012 and 2013 Arnold Palmer invitations.

Both John Reham and Xander Schaufel are trying to turn the recent elite drama into a victory before the final major of the year. Two of the world’s top-10 golfers playing this week – Rory McClroy and Colin Morikawa – both have some pre-August Gusta items. Justin Thomas, currently the world’s third-ranked player, is also trying to stay warm with another Masters bid on the horizon.

Add it all up and this event should be a little more intense than usual in mid-October. While the PGA Tour Profession always plays for a ton of money at these note-cut events, they often don’t have a major in November as they will be making this kind of preparation at this time. CBS Sports will be with you all the way to update this story with the latest scores, updates and highlights below.
