The Yankees have established their roster for summer camp, using 58 of the 60 available spots with players ready to report to the Bronx on Wednesday.
The player pool includes all 39 players on its 40-man roster, plus 19 extras, including infielder Matt Duffy, who signed a minor league contract with the club on Sunday. The lists had to be submitted before 4 pm on Sunday.
The Yankees will have to cut their roster to 30 players by the time the regular season begins on July 23 for a 60-game schedule.
Prospects included on the 60-man list include pitchers Deivi Garcia, Luis Gil, Clarke Schmidt, Michael King, Alexander Vizcaino and Luis Medina, infielder Kyle Holder and outfielder Estevan Florial.
In other moves, the Yankees also signed catcher Max McDowell to a minor league contract, released and re-signed reliever Dan Otero to a minor league contract, and placed Luis Severino (Tommy John surgery) on the disabled list. 60 days.
