The final event of the season’s World Golf Championship will take place at TPC Southwind this week with 45 of the world’s top 50 players taking on the event for the event without cuts and with a lot of money. Favorites entering the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational are Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas, but there are plenty of other stories as we hit a two-week stretch for the PGA Tour.
We’ll see if Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson can bounce back from brutal three-week stretches and if Rahm can hold onto his No. 1 player in world status. There are also places available at the US Open for players who are not yet qualified. Everyone is playing for something this week in Memphis as the season begins to shrink, but we’re possibly hitting the busiest 10 days of the year starting Thursday.
