Justin Thomas is the highest-ranked player in the PGA standings and leads a world-class field this week at the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Thomas has won twice this season and has four top-20 finishes in his last five starts. But he will be part of a world-class Invitational St. Jude WGC-FedEx 2020 field that includes the world’s eight highest-ranked players when the game begins Thursday at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

Jon Rahm, the newly minted world No. 1, who won the Memorial Tournament two weeks ago, is 11-1 and leads William Hill’s WGC-FedEx St. Jude 2020 Invitation odds. Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy and Thomas each have 12-1 in the current PGA odds to win. Defending champion Brooks Koepka has a remote 33-1 chance among the WGC-FedEx St. Jude 2020 invitation contenders. Before blocking his 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational picks or participating in any PGA DFS tournament at sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to check out the latest golf predictions and projected leaderboard of the tested computer model on SportsLine.

The SportsLine prediction model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been on fire since the PGA Tour’s return in June. Last week at the 3M Open, McClure’s best bets came in at a whopping $ 1,100 as he scooped up a top five pick at Max Homa (+1200) and a top 20 pick at Talor Gooch (+400) .

At the Memorial Tournament, McClure used the model to identify winner Jon Rahm (22-1) as one of his best bets from the start. He also had him as the projected winner for the weekend. The model also won the Collin Morikawa long shot at the Workday Charity Open. He identified him as a top contender from the start despite his long odds, and McClure recommended a straight bet for him to win 33-1. The model also called Bryson DeChambeau taking the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

McClure returned a staggering +788 during the Charles Schwab 2020 Challenge, which included betting in the top five on Xander Schauffele at 13-2 and Collin Morikawa at 9-1. The model was also extremely tall with 30-1 long-range winner Webb Simpson at RBC Heritage. The model had him in the top five from the start and McClure’s best bets included Simpson winning completely.

Altogether, the advanced computer model has reached a whopping six majors entering the weekend, including two of the last three. Anyone who has followed their golf choices has seen some massive returns.

The best 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational model predictions

A big surprise that the model asks for at the 3M Open 2020: Bryson DeChambeau, one of Las Vegas’ top favorites with 12-1, stumbles and barely exceeds the top five. DeChambeau has climbed to No. 4 in the FedEx Cup standings with four top-10 results since the PGA Tour resumed in June, including a victory in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

But he fought powerfully at the Memorial two weeks ago, missing the cut after shooting 73 and 76 in the first two rounds. It wasn’t an important factor in this event last year either, finishing 48th (+1). He has been the longest driver on the tour, but precision has haunted him at times as he enters this ranked event outside the top 100 in driving accuracy percentage (61.2). With little chance this week, the model identified it as a low value, making it a 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational favorite to avoid.

Another surprise: Tyrell Hatton, a massive 28-1 shot, makes a strong race for the title. You have a much better chance of winning than your odds imply, making it a target for anyone looking for a big payday.

The 15th player in the world has only played six times on the PGA Tour so far in the 2019-20 season, but he has had an incredible career.

In addition to winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational just before the coronavirus pandemic postponed the season, Hatton was third in RBC Heritage, fourth in the Rocket Mortgage Classic, sixth in the CJ Cup and WGC-Mexico Championship, and 14th in the WGC-HSBC Champions. That steamy run has earned Hatton more than $ 3.1 million and places him 16th in the FedEx Cup standings. Hatton was ranked 43rd in last year’s WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and the model is the highlight for this week’s WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational 2020 betting.

How to Make 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational Selections
