2020 Masters Leaderboard Breakdown, Scores: Dustin Johnson in full control immediately after Saturday

Moving Day at the Masters turned into a different day as the clarity came, slowly but surely, at the top of the leaderboard, like 36-hole leader Dustin Johnson, breaking from the rest of the field with a 7-under 65 that pushed him into a pole position. . At the age of 16 under the weekend, Johnson set the 54-hole Masters record set by Jordan Spieth in 2015. Spith, of course, won the green jacket by a four-stroke distance.

Entering Sunday, he is set to lose Johnson’s jacket as he becomes the first all-rounder in Masters history with two rounds of 65 or more in the same tournament. It became one of only four in the event to identify more and more after passing through holes 66 or more through holes; He won all the previous three to reach the achievement.

Johnson’s four-stroke lead, entering the final 18 holes, is the biggest such lead in the Masters since 2015.

Speaking of the rest of the field, here’s a spin through the leaderboard with a look at those who survived Saturday’s cut and stayed in the mix, some more than others.

1. Dustin Johnson (-16): The DJ put up his second boogie free round of the week, when he put the clinic off the jump, hovered at No. 2 and birdied at No. 3, 4 and 7 before taking a turn. He made nine pars and two birdies to close his day, and lost just two greens for regulation in the second round in a row. Masters is about to lose Johnson.

T2 Sungje Im, Abraham Anser, Cameron Smith (-12): His first career masters appearance was impressive, as he fired a 4-under 68 on Saturday, bouncing after 70 on Friday. It was the third best round of the day in the middle of the field and the best day of the whole week with Putter. Anser and Smith were equally impressive with a matching 69 to stay off the leaderboard. It was Smith’s most perfect round of the week as he turned into a boogie free scorecard and was playing under the final six holes 3.

5. Dylan Frittelli (-11): After 73 of the second round for South Africa, he reacted with a bogey-free 67 to climb to the leaderboard and almost 10 places in the top five. Frittelli’s length outside the tees again became a strength for him as he blasted him about 30 yards longer than the average field.

6. Justin Thomas (-10)Thomas ’idea wasn’t fulfilled – he played the last seven holes in 1 over and gave up the number 18 to complete the day – but that’s not the end of the road for him yet. Sitting six strokes from the lead, Thomas will have to cross one of the biggest deficits of the Masters final round to win the week. If Johnson moves and Thomas posts another 66, as he did on Thursday, he is certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.

T7. Patrick Reed, John Rahm, Sebastian Munoz (-9): For Reham and Reed, Saturday is likely to be the most likely round. Reed had many chances to get to the ground, but with each step forward, he took one back. Between his six birdies, he managed three bogeys – including his final two – and at No. 5 was a messy double-bogie that really stopped his day. Rahm had a similar struggle after the Parcel 8m disaster in which he hit a tree and had to take a playable penalty, eventually finishing the hole with a double-bogie. In the fitting, he closed it with a missed equalizer on the 18th, and he let out a sigh of relief and let out a croaking noise, disappointed to see how the body went. It was that kind of round for the Spaniard as he failed to earn in his first two rounds, and he now sits seven strokes from the lead, staying inside the stroke for another two days.

T 10. Brooks Koepka, Rory McLeroy, Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood (-8): McLeo followed his week-best 66 on Friday with 67 on Saturday. And after coming close to oh to fully dominate with Putter on his first 36 holes, he finished with the least put in one round all week. Kopeka, meanwhile, made another solid round for his second consecutive 69 69 card. He gave the burden of No. 5 and 6, but for the first time in a whole week he gave the burden of No. 2 and 3 and made No. 15 an eagle. He has played par 5 this week. Under 8.

T 21. Tiger Woods and five others (-5): The defending Masters champion did not have Saturday’s goods as he was seen fighting back uncomfortably and was stuck in the even૨. The whole week was his worst performance, and Greens struggled to read as he slipped more into the whole. Day. Woods managed to get Birdie back to his two last seven holes of the day, he had given up earlier in the round, but he left on Sunday with the possibility of repeating them all, but was completely extinguished.
