15-year-old arrested for BMW bicycle gang attack in NYC

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a wild Tuesday attack on a BMW driver whose posh car was vandalized in Broad Daylight in Manhattan by a bicycle gang, the Post has learned.

Law enforcement sources said Wednesday that Queens’ teenager – who is not being identified because he is a minor – has been charged as a teenager.

Sources said about 25 bikers were involved, six of whom damaged Torgovnik’s car. Sources added that police have also identified another teenager and are searching for him.

Torgovnik told the Post on Wednesday that he and his mother, who are in their 70s, had just left a donation to a nonprofit organization and were on their way to their father’s neurology office when they ran into about 50 teen bikers on Tuesday afternoon.

Du row video of the deadly attack shows BMW bikers around Fifth Avenue and 21st Street, some pushing with the fists and legs of their vehicle, and others smashing bikes at Torgovnik’s front window.

One of the attackers then ran in front of the car and the windshield shattered and was partially thrown into a cave in the video.

“At the time, I was afraid they would break the window, get in the car and get inside, and get us out,” Torgovnik recalled.

“We’re going to die, they’re going to kill us,” Torgovnik said.
