12 problems that no one wants to admit about GTA


If the Grand Theft Auto franchise is known for one thing, it’s that spirit of sheer rampant chaos. With its light-hearted violence, nasty characters, and seedy missions, the Rockstar series has it all.

Like South Park, this series is always about covering as many adult themes as it possibly can. As a result, it has been one of the most controversial franchises in video game history, and perhaps it has taken first place.

While this controversy has sometimes accomplished little more than make the series even more popular (as the controversy inevitably does), some genuine points have been raised. There are times when the series goes too far, even by the standards it sets for itself.

Also, Grand Theft Auto has some issues beyond morale. It may be among the most popular properties in the industry, but it has its problems like any other. Constructive criticism is always a positive thing, difficult as it is to dispense or receive it.

Finally, legions of fans around the world want the eventual Grand Theft Auto VI to be as good as possible, and it’s okay to acknowledge the things we don’t want to see; rough edges that we would like to sand.
