Idaho FLS, Idaho (KIPI / KIDK) – Idaho officials reported 1,160 new Covid-19 cases and 4 new deaths on Saturday.
That brings the total confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 99,660.
Idaho has a total of 84,737 confirmed cases and 14,923 potential cases in all 44 of the 44 counties, according to figures released from local health districts and the state. See chart below.

The SIP Covid-19 risk level monitor has four categories: minimal, medium, high and complex. Bangkok, Bear Lake, Bingham, Butty, Carabou, Franklin, Vanida and Power are all in the high risk category.

The EIPH COVID-19 risk level monitor has four categories: minimum, medium, high and complex. Bonneville, Lamy, Madison and Teton are in the serious risk category. Jefferson and Fremont are in the high risk category. Custer is in the middle risk category. Clark is in the minimal risk category.
The EIPH covers Bonneville, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lamy, Madison and Teton counties.
The hotspots so far this week are Canyon County, Kutenai County, Ada County, Bonneville County and Bannok County.
The state reports that there are an estimated 40,120 recovered COVID-19 cases recovered.
The average age of Idahons with COVID-19 is 39.7 years and ranges from 1 to 100 years. The data did not include 47 individuals of unknown age.
The age group with the most cases is 18-29 with 26,345 cases.
The state said 70 new hospital admissions have been registered bringing the total number to 3, 94848, and 1 new case has been admitted to the ICU, bringing the total to 74 744.
There are 5,0035 asymptomatic reported cases and 00900 cases among health care workers.
New deaths have been reported at 113 deaths.
State officials say deaths by age group are falling apart as follows.
- 2 deaths between 18 and 29 years
- Six people died between the ages of 30 and 39
- 18 people died between the ages of 40 and 49
- The 36 people who died were between the ages of 50 and 59
- 114 people ranged in age from 60 to 69 years
- 249 people ranged in age from 70 to 79 years
- 488 people were 80+
94.55% of deaths with the known race were white. 1.00% of deaths with the known race were Asian. 0.78% of deaths with the known race were Black or African American, 1.89% American Indian / Alaska Native, and 1.78% “other race / multiple races.” Race category for 14 deaths left.
88.46% of deaths with the known race were non-Hispanic. 11.54% of known ethnic deaths were Hispanic. The ethnicity of the deaths of 12 people remains.
