Samsung’s OneUI 2.0 is a refined version of what they released last year and is based on Android 10. You may not notice it, but there are some changes to OneUI 2.0 that may be helpful to you. Disable Bixby Home and Side Key
Samsung has been using Bixby as its default assistant since the launch of the Galaxy S8 series smartphones. There was even a dedicated button to wake up Bixby, but people didn’t like it, so Samsung released the dedicated Bixby button on later phones. Now Samsung uses the power button to start Bixby and there is a Bixby page on the home screen.

To go Settings> Advanced Features> Side Key and select Shutdown menu below press and hold Settings To disable the Bixby Home page only touch and hold the home screen and disable Bixby Home using the lever.
New navigation gestures
Samsung OneUI 2.0 is based on Android 10, so it also inherits Android 10 stock gesture navigation. It is a really fast and fast method to navigate the smartphone user interface. There are many more settings that you can change to customize this feature. You can enable the front camera if you are recording a game so you can comment with your face on. You can also change the video recording quality to get better video quality when recording the screen.
Bixby routines
Bixby Routine is a great feature of Samsung that uses Bixby to activate some functions of the smartphone when a particular condition is met. You can do anything with a single voice command on your phone. You can add anything to your voice command and it will fire when you give it that command.
You can enable and disable Bixby routines from the quick settings switch in the notification drawer. If you want to create a routine, press and hold the button to access the settings. You can create your own routines to trigger it the way you want. You can create as many routines as you like and activate them from your voice command.
Link to Windows
Link to windows is a feature created by Microsoft in association with Samsung to connect the phone to any Windows laptop. This feature allows you to access your entire phone on your Windows laptop. You can access notifications, messages, reply messages, access the gallery and even receive phone calls directly from your laptop.
To enable this feature, you need a Windows laptop running Windows 10 and the Your phone application installed. On your phone, activate the feature from the quick setting switch and it will ask you to log in with your Microsoft account. Once you are logged in, it will ask you to allow some permissions and once everything is set up, you will be able to access your phone from Your phone app on your Windows laptop.
One-handed mode
One-handed mode is a really nice feature on smartphones with a big screen like the Galaxy S10 Lite. You cannot reach the top corners of the screen to access anything. So what this feature does is that it shrinks our smartphone’s entire user interface in a small window so you can access the entire user interface with one hand.
To enable this feature, all you have to do is enable it from Settings> Advanced Features> One-handed mode. Enable it from there and you can use the toggle button or the gesture navigation button according to your needs.
Smart popup
Smart Popup is a multi-tasking feature again if you don’t want to be distracted from what you’re doing right now. You can reply to all your chats in a small popup window. So every time you get a notification from any messaging app, just tap on the notification banner and the whole app will open in a small window.
From there you can reply to chats without straying from what you are doing. To enable this feature, go to Settings> Advanced Features> Smart Popup and enable it from there. Once enabled, you can choose which app can be opened in a smart popup and which not.
Always on-screen customization
The always-on screen is a function where it displays certain information on the screen when the phone is in sleep mode. It shows you a lot of things on the screen, including your notifications and even your music information. You can enable this from the Quick Levers and go to Settings after holding down the button.
Samsung has changed the location of the Always On screen customization in One UI, so you won’t find it in the Always On screen settings menu. To customize it, go to Settings> Lock screen> Clock style. A pop-up window will open, asking you to customize the always-on display clock or the lock screen clock. Tap on the Always on display watch and you will be redirected to the personalization page.
Hide apps
If you want to hide apps from the app drawer so that nobody can see some of the installed apps, you can do it from the home screen settings. Single touch and hold the home screen and then touch Home screen settings. Once inside settings, scroll down and tap Hide apps. Here you can select the apps to hide and tap done.
